I know I read when I was younger but my passion for reading did not start until I was a freshman in college and I finally gave in to my mom and read tEotW.
I can remember my dad always telling me that my mom read trashy romance books so I kept telling her I didn't want to read it. Then I got bored one day so I picked it up and couldn't put it down.
After I finished WOT I began reading other fantasy series and continue to look for more.

I disagree - while many SW books are lackluster, Zahn's are some of the worst. *NM*
