I have very little time to read things. Most of my favorite books were from me deciding to go with a quote of the moment, actually. I have been led to some great finds by reviews, but on the whole I don't really get the luxury of exploring what others recommend for me.
Of course, given that mindset it makes little sense for me to deride lists. They just aren't my thing.
