For reasons unknown, only Books 1 (THE LAST WISH) and 3 (BLOOD OF ELVES) have been translated into English. There are no plans to translate Book 2, SWORD OF DESTINY, and Book 4 (TIME OF DISDAIN) has been pushed back until early 2011.
The series overall is a bit like the early MALAZAN books, with connections between them but each of the first three books more or less stand alone. The rest follow on directly from BLOOD OF ELVES, so you can start there.
I read and enjoyed THE LAST WISH, but probably won't carry on until they sort out the release schedule and get the books out faster.
