The movie was...well, it wasn't at all good.

I read the first book and got through it pretty fast. I read the second book and it was okay, but when it came to the next two, I skimmed through them both and lent them to my aunt for her to read. I don't think she ever read them before giving them back.
The movie isn't very good. I have some petty complaints about it that I won't get into, but for the rest, I haven't bothered to analyze it and find every reason I dislike it. I'm rather disappointed and don't care too much about the Twilight world anymore, even though I was pretty sure it was going to suck way before the movie came out.
The Harry Potter books are better throughout and the movies are better, too. They're not great or anything (the film adaptations), but compared to Twilight...maybe they are.

Don't know if we have any Twilight fans here...

My daughter loves them, but they're just too cheesy and predictable for me *NM*
