It's the Matthew Shardlake mystery series by CJ Sansom. I really like mysteries set in historical time periods and this series has started out great.
I've finished the Dresden Files (!) and now I need to read the short stories, though I hear that they're coming out with a collection in September. I wonder if that'll have all the short stories or just the new ones?
I still need to reread Outlander by Diana Gabaldon for my local ladies book club.
