I suspect it would then be February-March. Werthead Send a noteboard - 28/07/2010 09:55:34 PM
Any idea if Bantam would be more inclined to get the book out as soon as possible or to push back the release date to spring 2011? I know that the first month or so of the year typically doesn't see many big releases, coming as it does just after the holidays.

Late January is a possibility, but generally speaking if you miss Christmas the next release slot is normally February. That said, January does have several fantasy releases this year, most notably Joe Abercrombie's new book, but that might just be a UK market thing (the same book is being held back for February in the US).

GRRM is already up to circa 100 MS pages on Winds. The mind boggles at the timeline issues. *NM* - 01/08/2010 04:35:20 PM 282 Views

GRRM's now finished 8 POVs, with at least 2 left. I wonder how many more he has to go. *NM* - 08/08/2010 01:15:24 AM 323 Views
