S.M Stirling, anyone? Danu Send a noteboard - 09/09/2009 06:32:01 AM
I was introduced to S.M. Stirling's trilogy "Dies the Fire" by a friend at Wotmania. I really liked it and moved on to "The Sunrise Lands" the four book series set later in the same "emberverse" world.

*"Dies the Fire" chronicles the struggle of two groups who try to survive "The Change", a sudden worldwide event that alters physical laws so that electricity, gunpowder and most other forms of high-energy-density technology no longer work. As a result, modern civilization comes crashing down.
"The Sunrise Lands" is based around a quest by the sons and daughters of the main characters from the first trilogy, to travel across the face of a changed America all the way to Nantucket.

You know what? I really, really suck at book reviews and such so I'm not going to do one.

I was just wondering if anyone else has read and enjoyed these books.

*I admit to copy and pasting the above because as I said, also above, I suck at book reviews.
