... as is its sequel. Or was it a prequel? One never knows these days, especially with all the time travelling going on in DGHDA.
It is a sequel. I'll review that in time. I finished it a couple of days ago. I don't like that one as much as the DGHDA and I've been trying to figure out why.
BTW I also remember moments of me realising a gag or something alike only on my second read through the book or even days later. Usually resulting in a violent burst out of laughter.
And since my first computer in 1984 was an Apple IIe (Mac predecessor) I know what you mean by geekish nostalgia.
