Plus, the stories he told were more interesting than the debut offering from Harkaway. Besides, isn't his dad also a better writer than him?
I haven't read Harkaway yet. I listened to the audiobook of Zafón. Even in English, it was one of the most lyrical and evocative books I've read (er...listened to).
