I'm a bit lazy regarding the cheese, I'll admit. On the other hand, next time I'm at Grand Central I plan on getting one of those wonderful Norwegian black cheeses (Gamalost).

In fact I'm not even sure what to imagine when you say "black cheese". Wikipedia suggests it's one of the rougher kinds of blue cheese - a bit like Gorgonzola or the inimitable Cabrales, perhaps?
If you really want to be a food elitist, though, there's a store in Paris (on the Place de la Madeleine, iirc, but I could be wrong) that is known as the millionaires' supermarket and specializes in ultra-expensive and ultra-fancy food and, one would assume, wines and liquors.
I'm sipping on a nice Bordeaux, sampling a nice Gruyère...
