I do appreciate your thoughts on the future of literary criticism in Islam. I happen to agree. I don't believe the religion as a whole will ever evolve (and ultimately survive the coming centuries) if Muslims don't start criticizing their sacred cows and rethink the Qur'an and the old interpretations that they hold so sacred.
