Hello everyone. Well, the judges have finally finished reading and deliberating. We finally have winners.
The judges for the contest were: ironclad, Avendesora, Rebekah, Jacob
UK Winner:
Snoop
With the only entry, Snoop wins by default. We had three books to give away, but only one was claimed. By the way, I loved Snoop's story. All it would have taken was two other people to write something like "I woke up, put on my shows, and the world blew up."... and you could have had yourself a fun sounding free novel.
US Winners:
1st: Neglect by Tigr (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place vote)
2nd: The Decision by Bryce (2 firsts, and a 4th place vote)
3rd: Firefly by PhotoJim (1st and 2nd place vote)
Thank you to everyone who participated. I would like to give honorable mention to The Lights, Shifty Eyes, and The Dour Knight as each story received two votes each.

Not too bad for the first piece of writing I've ever submitted to anything other than a class I guess
