I usually have this problem at the beginning to things where I know the actor from somewhere else. The star example is Kenneth Brannagh as Hamlet. But if the actor is good, he will generally make me forget it.
I'm hoping I'll forget fairly soon because as you might imagine, seeing Ged as a girl in my head does intefere somewhat! Le Guin does seem to be a very good writer though and I'm only fifty pages in so hopefully...
She is good. As far as I remember. I haven't read anything by her in about a decade.
