1. What dystopian literature have you read?
1984
The Road
The Chrysalids
Fahrenheit 451
Harrison Bergeron
The Handmaid's Tale
Parable of the Sower
Heroes Die and Blade of Tyshalle
I've only read... two of those, I think.
2. Which was your favorite, and why?
Harrison Bergeron. The first one I ever read. It sticks with me because of that.
*nods* Funny, because the first two I read were more positive spins on things, so I sort-of don't think of them as the best... I guess I want dystopian literature to be depressing. That makes no sense.
3. Which was your least favorite, and why?
The Handmaid's Tale. At the time it seemed too much like 1984. I don't think that anymore- but it's hard to shake first impressions.
Interesting. I know people who disagree a great deal with that. Haven't read The Handmaid's Tale yet myself.
4. Which did you find most disturbing, and why?
1984. The idea of changing a language so completely that one can no longer express anything. That and the ending. That was horrifying.
It was, yeah.
5. Do you find it hard to read some dystopian literature because it is so disturbing?
Yes.
Don't get too spoilerific in these.
Currently I'm reading Zamyatin's We. Anyone else ever read it? Thoughts?
Nope. What's it about?
I think you'd find the ending horrifying in this too. Yes, I read forward to the end. Just about any book I finish makes me do that. Mostly to prepare me if it's gonna hit me hard, I think. And this'll be one of those, I'm sure.

The problem with post-apocalyptic stories is that there are so many which are utter crap.
