But for some reason I never buy that sort of anthologies. I don't know why. I have been thinking it over a bit lately, what with Larry editing one (the part of me that does not buy anthologies crashed with the part of me that feels I should get that one, which crashed with the part of me that cannot have one volume in a series without buying the others (yes, that part of me is slightly OCD)).

I think it is because I like my authors in their own books. I am happy to buy collections of stories by one author, but even then I prefer it to be a complete collection rather than a selection.

And I notice I am especially apprehensive about series of anthologies (I was much more interested in the squirrel fiction anthology, for example). I may need thorough therapy.
