Which is sucky beyond the telling, she is awesome.
I do not see enough Nancy Kress around either, and I am reading her Probability Sun right now and it is a crying shame.
And what of Elizabeth Moon? Her Vatta's War sequence and The Speed of Dark are great books, and I'm told her Paksennarion fantasy series is a good read.
And if I did not mention Lowachee above, I do so now.
And do people remember The Sparrow? Did Russell write anything else worth reading?
Connie Willis! She is hilarious, though I suppose I only think she is underappreciated because I do not see her in India.
And you know, Doris Lessing's Zone books are pretty damn readable.
