Who's the coolest author you've ever met in person, and what did you talk to them about? Bryce Send a noteboard - 05/09/2009 10:48:29 AM
For me, I'd have to say it was Brandon Sanderson. I want to eventually write a novel (I'm finally starting to get time to write, but not making good use of it thanks to this damned place) and he was nice enough to sit down with me for about 15 minutes between panels at Life the Universe and Everything and give me advice and pointers on how to go about making a writing career happen. Cool guy? What about the rest of yas?

Note: This honestly isn't an effort to make myself sound cool, like I hang out with authors all the time. Right after we got done talking, Dan Wells came over, and said, "Hey, we're going to lunch," and Brandon got up and headed out without so much as a goodbye, much less an offer for me to come along, so....yeah, no big shot here :P
Formerly Dark Prophecy, now I'm just me.

Strong proponent of a Writing Section here at RAFO.
