No. I can understand/appreciate the arguments, but IMHO the White Tower AS are not that valuable - Edit 1

It actually would have been a far greater victory and expansion of the Light's capabilities if Egwene, Nynaeve and Elayne had started their own channeling organization which united the Kin, the Aiel Wise Ones and the Windfinders, in a patchwork quilt based upon each groups' respective autonomy and a sharing of ideas. A better second outcome would have been for the Rebels to have gained public recognition with the White Tower Aes Sedai and their Oath Rod sank into obscurity.

The White Tower A) doesn't have nearly as many channelers as those other organizations, B) more time will be spent restructuring the Tower and Aes Sedai approaches to multicultural respect and the new power balance than doing anything useful and C) has customs and beliefs that are counter-productive.

I think that is the problem with how RJ presented the WT to us. He never showed the possible members who clothed the poor, cared for the sick, opened orphanages or etc, and only showed us the politicians and administrators. As a result, we doubt that useful members of the Aes Sedai even exist. While reforming the White Tower is nice, I think the organization is flawed and Tarmon Gaidon presents a great opportunity to clean house as it were and get rid of it.

Here's the deal: It is Tarmon Gaidon. At this point, making treaties, getting everyone to talk to you and use diplomatic channels is not really that useful. In other words, the White Tower has outlived it's usefulness.
