Firstly, i am sick and tired of the Asmo mystery. But it's like a drug. My brain has been obsessed with the issue for so long i cant quit, despite the fact it makes me sick.
99 percent of the subject has been debated ad nauseum. However, 1 percent remains generally overlooked and that's what has been driving me crazy.
Specifically, the "where and how".
I just feel like everything else will fall into place if we can figure out the "where and how". I mean, we'd know where he died and how he died. i think the perp will pop out given the unique circumstances.
So why isnt it also discussed ad nauseum? Because the general consensus is that it cant be answered. i think that's a bail out. better to admit you cant think of anything rather than ignore it.
I thought up a couple of ways to approach the issue that may provide a different perspective? what do you think:
1. The "where" caused the "how".
RJ's statement doesnt rule this out. Basically, what if the nature of the location operated under rules where the person had the ability/opportunity to cause final death, but the person could not have done so without the location. Considering it this way, we can discuss all the different places that operate differently than normal randland and which ones could have provided the means?
2. What if the "where" is not a geographic location, but rather refers to Asmo's proximity to a person and/or object and/or event. I havent seen this mentioned before. What are the possibilities?
Who am i kidding. he probably saw his reflection in a mirror and balefired himself.

We have a pretty good idea about the "where". It just doesn't help.

Well, the first step is admitting you have a problem. Good for you. *NM*

I never really cared about the Asmodean issue. I could live without it being revealed.

I'd like to know, but it's honestly not the first thing on my mind. *NM*
