yeah why the heck weren't they working on anything new. Its like they just had a set knowledge base and that was it. Thats all they taught. The only innovators in the power are younglings new to the power who haven't had a lot of formal training. They seem to be able to weave innovative things on instinct better than say sisters who have been alive 100's of years and have had much free time to study and experiment. Its like they were all to afraid to do something that could still them or burn them out. Now that stilling is healed maybe there can be a department of innovation in the tower.
