You know what's really embarrassing? Fanatic-Templar Send a noteboard - 30/03/2010 10:28:38 PM
Luc and Slayer are one being created/merged by the DO, Slayer enters TAR "in the flesh" (contrary to "in the dream" ), it makes sense that he can enter TAR in the flesh from everywhere in the Real World, consequently it also only makes sense that he can leave TAR at every place & return into the Real World (especially if he is an assassin, as e.g. the stanza about Slayer in the Dark Prophecy implies), this would actually also explain the strange assassination in the Stone and the WT, which apparently weren't done by a mere Gray Man, or why Fain's Myrddraal fears that much that Slayer will find it. It's a bit embarrassing that you still can't even grasp those simple basics, although I explained them several times.

That you somehow think that by repeating the same irrelevant inanities over and over again, I'll forget what my argument is and just concede from confusion. I've only asked you one thing, which was to provide any reason to believe that Slayer could travel from point to point in the real world by jumping through Tel'aran'rhiod. Why you insist on repeating 'Slayer is an assassin! Slayer is an assassin! Slayer is an assassin!' is quite beyond me. I assumed you knew this already, but 'being able to teleport' is not a defining characteristic of an assassin. You know this, right?

And as I said last post, you revert to being in Tel'aran'rhiod in the flesh (not entering in the flesh, mind you, that was never demonstrated) is somehow indicative of the ability to travel from point to point in the real world to it. You know, just because you can randomly jump to conclusions doesn't mean that in any way makes those conclusions reasonable. Especially when there is evidence against that conclusion.

I give you that probably only the deleted scene in TSR about Slayer's powers, which BS mentioned recently, would have made this blatantly obvious to many readers at that time . But as RJ said, he trusted that generally his readers are reasonable intelligent to deduce things and don't have to be told that water is wet.

Exactly. Which is why Basel Gill killed Asmodean. You see, he is actually a very powerful Shadow channeler (I know there is no evidence to support this, but you don't need to be told that water is wet, do you?) and wanted to kill Asmodean to take his place among the Forsaken (not knowing that Forsaken ranking doesn't work that way). I know he's shown to be with Morgase at the time, but that was just an illusion so people wouldn't suspect him. He's an assassin, you know?
