No, RJ's writing awards are not Hugo-class but they still exist and he did at least win for some. No watter how you slice it, RJ had a more "successful" carrer as an author than Roberts probably ever will (for that matter so has Mick and his first carrer was getting hit in the head by metal chairs 5 days a week so...). Congratulations to Roberts for being a professor at a prestigious university and producing a snarky sarcastic criticism of other ,more succesful, author's work.
Speaking of which, my favorite criticism that he has made so far against RJ's books, is the really insiteful one regarding the lack of graphic sex and violence. A professional college professor, criticising someone who actually served in a war about NOT depicting blood and guts... It is a good thing he has a day-job to fall back on.
