PS it cant be balefire. if the words were still in the air when death took him it could NOT be balefire. The weave would have erased the words before they ever happened even the smallest amount possible. :p
Words are not things that can hang in air in the first place, so obviously it was a poetic construct, so to speak. If you really want to be excessively literal about this, you need to first explain how Asmodean managed to hang his words in the air at all. Also, possibly explain how they stopped hanging afterwards. Did the wind knock them down, perhaps? What were they hanging from anyway?
The first rule of being a ninja is "do no harm". Unless you intend to do harm, then do lots of harm.
