I'm not happy with the idea b/c it depends on several unsupported theories, but i wanted to post it to see what you guys thought:

Humor me please, because the idea requires enormously gigantic leaps.

First--I am in the Slayer-dun-it camp.

Second--I think "Where" and "How" are due to Asmo getting Off'd in Finnland. Slayer did it/Lanfear did it; or Slayer did it on behalf of Lanfear.

Third--I think the odd door to the pantry was a new doorframe Terangreal into Finnland. The prior doorframe was a Terangreal to Finnland and it was destroyed. The Finn's power to grant any wish comes from a giant stash of Terangreal. Why should there only have been one in stock? This odd door could be the new doorframe Terangreal into Finnland.

If true: Matt and co are on their way to Caemlyn and then to free Moiraine from the Finns. Maybe he wont need to travel to the ToG? Maybe he can get there thru this new doorframe terangreal?

perhaps Verin's letter bears some enlightenment on this issue?

And isnt Birgitte in Caemlyn too? She happens to have knowledge about the ToG and Finnland...

Oddly enough, while typing this, i am instinctively leaning towards Moiraine dun it (even though logicaly i dont agree) b/c Moiraine may have foreseen ALL of this occurring.
