Maybe the next book will touch on it more. TGS basically just touched on some loose ends from the whole Perrin storyline since PoD -- Faile bumps off Masema then has a little memorial service for Rolan, while Perrin thinks, "Whoa, I was really going off the deep end in CoT." Sanderson was largely concentrating on the Rand and Egwene storylines for greater coherence in this ones, and maybe saved the repercussions of this for later.

Actually I find it rather implausible - 10/03/2010 06:18:32 PM 686 Views
Because Perrin is very slow and simple and finds it easier to hack off someone's head then stab them - 10/03/2010 07:10:32 PM 665 Views

Ya the entire scene with Masema seemed too out of place in TGS *NM* - 11/03/2010 08:44:01 AM 609 Views
