I mean, I don't think we have really seen any evidence that the seals have already failed (at least, to my knowledge). As far as I understand it, there have actually been some implications that the seals are still functioning, and Rand has to do something with them in the future. I admit that I don't really remember a lot about this subject, so if there is evidence to suggest otherwise I suppose it is possible.
Also, assume you recall correctly that Rand has to do something with them in the future--if true, that fact does not obviate the possibility that the seals have already stopped working. This brings to mind Fel's note to "clear the rubble...", but that sub-thought isnt necessarily the heart of my idea, just a spontaneous thought.
i mean, if they have already stopped working, i can see how they would still play a part in the future. Think of the consquences past, present and future.
I think Rand would still have to do something with them even if they have already stopped working--i dont think they can just be discarded. it's not so simple as, "these objects are now unimportant trash".
I think this is at least plausibe b/c it meets the criteria of: 1) books in which it is mentioned; 2) frequency mentioned; 3) attention given in the books; 4) huge ramifications bigger than Asmo; and 5) not theorized in posts if at all (at least in my humble lurking--forgive me if i am wrong)
