IIRC, he "jumps" there in TAR with Perrin following, but when Perrin follows there isn't anyone around, just the tower. Birgitte then warns Perrin that it is difficult to escape in the real world and nearly impossible in TAR. Is there something that I am missing, some piece of evidence that Slayer entered the ToG?
Personaly, I have always thought that it was a trap, with Slayer not entering the ToG but instead trying to get Perrin to enter and be stuck.
