What do you think?
It is an apparently well known prophecy among the Seanchan that the Dragon Reborn will bow before the crystal throne before Tarmon Gaidon:
"The Dragon Reborn must kneel before the Crystal Throne before Tarmon Gai'don, or all is lost."
- Tuon, Winter's Heart "What a Veil Hides"
Do you think that this will happen? Will it be physical or figurative? Or is this prophecy simply twisted by Seanchan scholars to glorify their empire?
I was tempted to include this discussion under the post below, but I thought that this was large enough to warrant its own discussion thread. Besides, I think we could all take a break from discussing Egwene's controversial qualities.
My personal theory, however unlikely, is that Rand will physically and figuratively bow before the Crystal Throne, but not in submission, as the Seanchan assume. My opinion (and hope) is that he will bow out of respect and friendship for Mat's marriage. Maybe by traveling to Seandar, during some sort of wedding ceremony? I think that would be a nice little bit to include in the story somehow, but I wonder about how likely this is.
Anyways, what do you think will happen?

"Take the Gleeman!" Rand and Mat cried, throwing Thom to the Myrddraal. Then they ran away as fast as they could, and Thom's screams quickly faded into the distance along with any inconvenient feelings of guilt.
Will Rand bow to the Crystal Throne?
