I don't really think this is relevant Sareitha Sedai Send a noteboard - 03/02/2010 05:03:51 PM

Oh, and incidently, we have seen on screen two weaves both being unraveled/picked apart. They were both gateways originally. Aviendha picked apart her gateway from the Tarasin Palace to the countryside on the way to the Kin's Farm. She did this successfully with no repercussions. The other gateway was from the Kin's farm to an empty field in Andor near one of Elayne's estates. Elayne is the one who picked that weave apart. It did't work out, and she ended up with a nuke weave which destroyed both sides of the gateway for a goodly distance.

Moridin himself was completely shocked that Aviendha unraveled her gateway. Until he saw it with his own eyes, he was convinced it could not be done. I don't think Graendal is more knowledgeable than he is. And based on what Aviendha and the sisters who saw her do it understand of the dangers involved in even trying this, there is no way somebody as cautious as Graendal would be playing around with that.

So I don't think that's at all relevant to your proposal that there is a way to create the Compulsion weave such that it dissolves when Delved with no ill effects on the person who was Compulsed (unlike we've seen when even small amounts of Compulsion are used, such as on Nynaeve and Elayne).
If you are from Betelgeuse, please have one of your Earth friends read what I've written before you respond. Or try concentrating harder.
