But how many previously unseen weaves have had such huge implications?

Balefire is the only one I can think of, and that was first used without any reference to turning back time IIRC.
And like I said before, what's the point of such a weave? The real aim should be that as soon as a delving weave hits the Compulsion it disappears BEFORE IT CAN BE DETECTED. Graendal had NO way to know that Nynaeve wouldn't simply delve Ramshalan 2 or 3 times before Rand BF'ed the palace, thereby ruining the whole scheme. The fact that Nynaeve took some seconds to delve Ramshalan shows us that the weave was stuck in there good. She would have seen it disappear otherwise.
For that matter, we haven't yet seen a weave that can unmake other weaves. This would change the series completely since there are so many applications for such a weave, but we've never seen it. Removing weaves happens in two ways only; they dissolve with time (Graendal's Compulsion was heavy enough that we can ignore this, otherwise how was she to know that Rand might not have been a few hours further away, or closer?), or they can be unknitted: to date, only Aviendha has done this, and the result was what was effectively a Nuclear explosion that lead the Seanchan to think that the AS had a secret weapon (and if they could connect the dots, the AS would realise that this is true).
Even if all of the above were possible, there are still plenty of other reasons that Graendal is dead.

So your name is Graendal....

Egwene was faintly forkrooted, not heavily.

It was heavy enough to nullify her ability almost completely by TGS

The lead up was clumsy because her death scene was rather forced.
