I am begining to think that your post should have been titled 'Casually accepting Graendal's death would imply a major logical flaw in the reasoning of posters'.

I'm with you in this regard; I'm on the fence with a lot of things in this series (with more being added every day); her death, however, and the events leading up to it don't make sense, though. I don't 'want' her to be alive, even if she's one of my favorites - I just think there is an equal likelihood she survived.

I think it's easy to forget who's who on a faceless board; I've been saying that the body count should be higher for some time, now. IE: I am not personally invested in any of these characters.
