I've been re-reading the series over a long time now, and are currently reading KOD, before I take on tGS for the first time.
I just read chapter 2 in KOD, where Beonin betrays the Salidar Aes Sedai when she shows a lot of new weaves to Elaida in the Tower.
In that scene, she comes disguised with an Illusion and some kind of weave to hide her ability to channel (don't remember if this is called Inverting, but I only think that name is used when hiding a weave?).
What I remember from LOC is that Moghedien disgusied as Maighan teach Elayne and Nynaeve how to hide your ability to channel and how to invert weaves, but they don't pass it on to the Aes Sedai because they think that is a very great and dangerous advantage? So how does Beonin know this if that is the case? I also can't remember that they taught how to make a disguise with a Illusion, but maybe that is common Aes Sedai knowledge, since Moraine also did this in EotW?
Would be really greatful if someone could clear up the mess a little. Remember that I haven't read tGS yet though, thanks.
