I do think Brandon needs to take the time he needs to finish it.

However, I am curious how long they will take to edit, print etc.

The wheel of time is one of the best selling series, and in the past it has been proven that it can be published quickly.


But when it's been published quickly, people have bitched and moaned and said the quality is lacking. I mean... lets not have a rush publishing job.

It would be weird if Brandon is done in for example june and it isn't printed till march / april 2011. While when GRRM is done later, it will still be published in 2010


GRRM won't be done until 2012 at least, in case you haven't been paying attention. So you just can't compare the two
