If there is anything in the quotes to support that Graendal was present. All quotes I know just mention SH and Elza.
The evidence points to her (most likely, could have been Cyndane or Mghedien as well) presence along the line.
You are extrapolating a lot from a single comment that Elza had been made into SH's tool... I am extrapolating a lot based on her being taught weaves. We'll have to RAFO or wait for Brandon to say more to know more.
If only to keep us guessing

I think if there really wasn't any other Forsaken involved, he would dismiss this, since it isn't even indicated in the book. At least it would be worth the try!
