let's do some quick math to see how feasible this is... darius_sedai Send a noteboard - 15/01/2010 12:16:02 AM
how many links in just a chainmail shirt? 1000-1500? Takes what a minute for each link? Could take as long as 30-hours for each shirt, just in conversion to cuendillar time! Most channelers become exhausted after only about an hour or so of continual Channeling ... so we're talking as much as a 10-day week of a channeler doing little else to produce 1 mail shirt? Doesn't seem like a good allocation of time when that same Channeler could be out in the field helping move the army or Healing the wounded etc...

And what if they screw up even a little? scrap heap.

I'm still not sure if cuendillar would be "destroyed" or "remain" RugbyPlayingAshaman - 14/01/2010 03:55:00 PM 1007 Views

Is a gateway fixed in place? Ashaman Narishma - 14/01/2010 07:55:20 PM 880 Views
Why would this mean that the gateway weave doesn't need to be maintained? *NM* Lord Haart - 17/01/2010 03:22:58 PM 379 Views
Because even if it wasn't tied off, it'd get stuck around the cuendillar doorway, unable to close. *NM* Gher - 22/01/2010 09:07:34 PM 371 Views
But RJ said that cuendillar could not pass into a gateway, didn't he? Lord Haart - 23/01/2010 11:53:35 AM 764 Views
