Like I said, inverted, but also easy for Sorilea to see where Cadsuane held the DB, and what she did to undo the ward. As far as we know AS don't know reversing, only inverting... Verin didn't was surprised to be attacked by weaves she could not sense, Alivia could not reverse etc...
You undo a weave by unraveling it, which doesn't require you to make it un-inverted.
As for where the a'dam was, Bair saw it too. So why just Sorilea?

Why are you quoting these things?
1. Where the DB was held
2. That there was a Warding (inverted) on the box
it's doubtful she's strong enough to unweave the thing herself in any case, but if she is indeed a DF should could have provided valuable information to Elza/SH for obtaining the DB.
