I don't think that's going to happen because we've seen the damage that dagger will do to somebody when it barely cuts them. Also when Rand was cut he was only saved by someone, I think it was Nynaeve but I'm not sure, healing and sealing off the wound from the rest of his body.
If he was full on stabbed in the heat of battle I don't think he would survive, and now there is no taint to combat Mashadar so he'd be even more screwed. If there would even be a way for him to combat Mashadar in that way.
The only thing I can think of in regards to him dying and living again would be in the whole LTT takeover and after it appears that Rand dies but LTT is the one who really bites it, rand comes back in control of his body and finishes the fight.
This way seems very Harry Potter in that sense but we know RJ has had the ending written for awhile. Anyway, that's my two cents.
