Shaitan or Sheytân or Satan... they all basically mean the same thing from the same root, and are not necessary Islamic, all Abrahamic religions have some version of Satan, RJ just picked the Arabic spelling.
Many other names have roots from various religious texts:
Asmodai
Baal
Mastema
And there are tons of mythological and Aurthurian names woven in as well. I'm sure the majority of readers have picked up on at least the obvious one like Grendal/Graendal etc...
