Well for myself, I'd call a man amazing if he was physically twice as strong as me. If he was 20% stronger, I'd even consider challenging him.
and you'd have your ass handed to you in an arm wrestling match
I think they're valuable clues. *cough* bonfire.
Then Nynaeve is 1,000,000,000,000x stronger than anyone ... Hyperbole, and you know as well as I do how often RJ has changed the nature of OP strength since that comment was made!
Elayne and Egwene also comment on how massively complex Healing seems at one point or another, yet now they are re-discovering Traveling and making Ter'angreal. Egwene notes how she thought she'd never be able to weave 12 flows at once, yet now she can ... IMO Nynaeve and Rand started out at very close to full potential early in the series and Egwene/Elayne started from scratch.
Bah.
so Nynaeve can match a Forsaken (even a weak one) after only a few months of channeling, while blocked, when she's not nearly at her potential? Again that would make her 1,000,000,000,000x stronger than anyone! Even a weak FS is at least 3x stronger than an average AS, and Nynaeve is later held by 2 AS!
I'm saying that the well may have a limitation on how quickly it can be drawn upon.
She doesn't say that, she says the Well only holds so much Power and that lifting 2x large men would take half of what it offers. Then she lifts them one at a time and cannot bring them both back down.
What's recurrently mentioned as one of the hardest things to do in channeling?.
The same thing that is just as hard for Egwene to do as Nynaeve. Nynaeve would have no more difficulty than Egwene in performing the feat.
Lol, this is getting kind of amusing. I thought the building was high - Rand said if he fell he'd die.
Here is the quote explaining that the building is on the 3rd (and top) floor:
WH
Blue CArp Street
"Zeram never had a suspicious bone, and if he did, Milsa wouldn't let him keep it. That's his wife. Since the last of the children married, Milsa's been renting out the top floor. Whenever she finds somebody don't mind being locked in at night, anyway," he laughed. "Milsa had stairs put in right up to the third floor, so it's private, but she wouldn't pay for having a new door cut as well, so the stairs come out in the shop, and she's not trusting enough to leave that unlocked at night. You going to eat that pie, or just look at it?"
Ten paces = 30 Feet, 12 paces = 36 feet ... average of 1 story is approx 10 feet, thus 30-36 feet would be 3+ stories.
Domani Drag Queen in the White Tower ... Aran'gar watch out!
Is Rand logical when he estimates female danger?
