Fionwe accused me of the opposite - saying that I trust Egwene's opinion too much over Moiraine's. Besides, I've never said that it was crap. I merely stated that you don't know how strong either woman is that stage, which is true, and that Moiraine mentioned several Forsaken as potential candidates who might be overwhelmed. I was focussed more on your erroneous statement that Moiraine said that the two women could defeat Lanfear.
I don't think they could defeat Lanfear. We have proof that she is far too skilled for that! What I said is that the quote shows us that in Raw strength the 2 would be stronger than her by a large enough margin to be considered by Moiraine to be "Overwhelming" ... so was Alivia when she faced Cyndane ... and she could barely hold her own!
I'm pretty sure RJ doesn't know the absolute strengths of the channelers.
I've been saying that for years, it's obvious that he wanted it to be vague so he had the maximum freedom to write.
She thinks Nynaeve alone could come closer than both she and Elayne could against Rand.
She thinks Nynaeve may have been able to split her flows a dozen ways and knows at this point she would no be able to do this

That's a huge mass of assumptions. Moghedien was known for her weakness - she says so openly to the Dark One. She never attended Forsaken meetings and only spied on them until she was mindtrapped. That's why she's alive. You've got no proof that Nynaeve is far closer to anything.
Just the fact that she's already as stronge as any sister in the Tower as soon as she begins channeling (TGH). Or that she's nearly as strong as Rand in TSR according to Egwene if you take the quote to mean nothing but strength. If she's not up in the 85%+ range of her strength early on she'd be massively stronger than even Rand.
I think there are equal spaces between Nynaeve - Egwene - Moiraine i.e. one average Sister's strength.
I don't think the evidence supports that. There are Women like Cadsuane, Bode, Nicole, Kerene, Meilyn and Therava all between Moiraine and Egwene, and the weakest of them (that we can map to) is a "Sharp increase" above Moiraine. Then you get at least 1 other woman before you even get to Cadsuane who is probably weaker yet than Bode! From Egwene to Nynaeve we have 3 women we know to be stronger and that margin is undefined. You choose to make it very wide, I think that doesn't match up with any kind of Bell Curve distribution. I also think it's ridiculous to assume RJ would make one of his primary protagonists only "average".
Not true. When asked how many men would qualify for the White Tower, RJ said a slightly higher amount, but then added that because of dexterity, the number would be the same. Therefore they are identical in their capabilities, if not in their exact methods.
That doesn't change what I said. Those men are still stronger than their female counterparts.
I don't really agree. I think saidar is a much more dense power like water, and saidin is like air. Men have larger volumes at their disposal but women have a more concentrated strength. Lanfear went after Rand with shielding at the end of FoH, and he himself said that he was at least as strong as Rahvin at that point.
Now who's got a whole mass of speculation
Lanfear had a whole lot more skill at her disposal, and Rand from his own POV was also holding back because he didn't want to kill her!It's also possible that Lanfear herself was somehow stronger than the 21 level list ('Finn theory or something like a gift from the DO) .... far fetched I'll give you ... making comparisons to her irrelevant!
RJ rubbished the Finn theory, and I don't think Lanfear was unnatural.
