I doubt the damanae, sul'dam situation will be resolved by the end of the series. Though undoubtedly the Seanchan will have to do something again before the Dark One is free.
Yep. The fact that the lines in the prophecy are occurring in order, the fact that they have all been major events and the fact that the slaying of the wrong has to happen before the last battle makes it clear that the Seanchan will do SOMETHING big in the next book or the final one.
The end of the damane system is one such option. Though I agree that it being resolved so quickly would require something really major to make all the Seanchan people change their minds about the OP wielders.
I wonder what would happen if Mat were to blow the horn and summon the original Arthut Hawkwing to meet with Tuon and have HIM say that the whole Anti-AS thing was the work of Ishamael and order Tuon to put a stop to it.
