I do have a family member with high-functioning autism. I did not find this post offensive. Rather merely ignorant, as you pointed out. Also an irritatingly absurd reach in a poor attempt to draw an analogy.
Callandor's flaw is nothing like autism. Nothing. Like. It. To propose that it is, publicly, as though one has come up with some profound insight, defies credulity.

Of course my posts were based on a public point of view with regards to the subject. Most people aren't educated on the subject. My nephew is autistic, and I have cared for him since he was 16 monthes old, he is 7 now. I have been educated on the subject as well. Although you say your not offended, your tone says otherwise. This isn't supposed to be some divine vision to unravel the mysteries of the universe. It was simply a rough parallel to a specific type of high functioning autism. Thats right :p they explain it as people who basically lack a buffering system. It makes for a flawed brain, or off balance. You right in the part about not everything is known about it, however many things have been found. One such thing is that there are many types of autism. The one I refer to is obviously not the exact one your familiar with. I empathize with your ignorance. I am ignorant about a great many things. I am not a specialist on the subject because of the small amount I have learned, however I doubt that you are either.

Perhaps not offensive, but it confuses 'autism' with 'savant'
