Set aside confusion between data and the distribution thereof.

He surely did not mean a perfect bell curve, did he? Like, that's impossible in any real world data set, isn't it? Roll 2 perfect dice a trillion times - sum is unlikely to be perfect normal distribution.

And we know that most people can't channel, and of those that can (3%?) most never do. So mode/median will surely be less than mean?

It can still a bell (skewed) if it is not perfect.

Darius, why so pedantic on the irrelevancies while fast & loose with the big picture?

Offer to help if you can divulge data stands.

NB: mode is not informative because data values are not discrete - mode is a function of arbitrary measurement system.
