But I got the gist size played a part in how poweful an angreal, hence the Chodan Kal were enormous. But Callandor for its size is far more powerful than it should be, like overclocking a computer cpu, at the (intentional or unintentional) sacrifice of the buffer.

Yes there is no validity of that, the strongest Sa'angreal at the WT is a fluted wand... And the angreal that the girls had all were roughly the same size but varied in strength
