Callandor tjacknorris Send a noteboard - 22/12/2009 12:52:43 PM
Has anyone asked BS/RJ WHY Callandor lacks the safety buffer? According to The Guide LTT used this sword as a weapon against Shadow. According to some earlier WoT books the 'urban myth' among some knowledgable Aes Sedai was that it wasn't finished. This sounds a bit..... vague. If they manage to finish the Choedan Kal at the end of the war of the shadow, surely they would have been able to finish Callandor before during earlier stages of the war??

Please dont reply with: But maybe it was almost finished and then dreadlords attacked and disrupted the final tuning process etc or some other BS (BS doesn't mean Brandon Sanderson here btw ;)) Do we have any real clues? Is it missing a piece or something? Ring of the Tamyrlin?? ( sorry, that last one was really lame)
