I have to agree about both Semirhage and Graendal, especially Graendal. She was always my favorite Forsaken and for her to not even get a moment as weak as Semirhage's was made me sad. I keep telling myself it served the story and it really did, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
Faile knocking off Masema made me happy. I like that we got to read his thoughts as he died. That way they got to kill him off quickly and not lose story time but we also got a huge insight into his character. I loved that.
Egwene and Verin was my favorite scene in the book. "That dress you're wearing is green"
I know I'm in the minority, but I loved Aviendha in this book as well. I knew what was coming but I loved her marching up to the Wise Ones just the same.
I was sad about the Rand and Tam scene. Again, it served the story, but that is soooooo not what I wanted from that long awaited scene.
Happy to see you!

I think we entirely agree.
On a side note, are you still around Olympia?
Side note, yup. Have my own place finally about 20 minutes outside Olympia.
Where you see "place" insert "zoo".
I'm gonna be living in Oly for work this winter, and I think it would be awesome to hang out sometime.
That would be awesome! Let me know, I'll trick someone into sitting.
Yay! I should be moving in on January 3rd or so... we'll plan something.
Vet bills are, unfortunately, a fact of life. The puppies I adopted had worms and shared with our two cats, so four animals to the vet for physicals, shots of various sorts and worming.
All I can say is please Jesus take care of the hamsters!!!
Well, and the fish, but they don't go to the vet.
I just have this mental image of Jesus standing over a toilet bowl, calling out to the poor deceased fish... "Fishy, come forth!"
I was Phelix on wotmania, I will always be Phelix in the "real" world, and now I am Phelix on RAFO.

And does she know that Stilling breaks the Oaths? *NM*

She should. Some of the Aes Sedai who swore to Rand had been Stilled and then Restored by Flinn.

Then, wouldn't the BA/Shadow just kill her off? I think it'd be kind of obvious what she did. *NM*

Doesn't mean they experimented with it.

Rebels had no reason to research a way to break the oaths. Verin did.

I always thought Masema was an irritating distraction and was glad he was killed quickly.
