I felt fairly sure the sword was Justice, so it is nice to have some confirmation. However, the sword is obviously much more than just Justice. It was probably Lews Therin's sword as well-- since it may have been passed from LTT to Hawkwing to Rand the sword is kind of like a Champion's sword or Sword for the Ages as Light in the Night called it.
Found this on Dragonmount--
I would say that the sword ties back to LTT because it was stated that it was odd that Rand recognized it and not LTT which I interpret to mean that LTT should have or LTT is a figment of Rand's imagination
I don't think Rand would care that much if it was Justice or not and would probably discuss it as a point of interest with Min if that was what he recognized about it.
Sorry if this rambled a little

Didn't Rand see Hawkwing's ghost, summoned by the Horn of Valere? *NM*

It can't be Turak's sword as that had a heron on it and Rand's new sword doesn't

Lews Therin did not wield Callandor (probably).

No, IIRC he didn't use it when creating the Seal.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think Callandor was made after the Breaking.

Perhaps it would've been more accurate to say, "during the Breaking. "

Rand didn't recognize it from LTT's memories though, he said.

Very true, but he also wasn't fully integrated with LTTs memories at that time

Which makes me wonder. What is Hawking fighting with when the Horn of Valere is blown? *NM*

LTT wasn't wearing the sword in the prologue of EOTW

I don't see why he needed another sword

If it is LTT's sword, or Hawking's Justice. Then it is a powerful symbol to rally the people. *NM*

I don't think anyone in 3rd Age Randland really cares about Lews Therin

Not likely. But it might have an effect on the forsaken. Those who remain.
