The Dark One has several names that he's very commonly referred to as. Nynaeve on the other hand I guess could be referred to as Wisdom... though, that would be silly, since she's no longer the wisdom and is very seldom referred to as the Wisdom since tGH. Therefore, we're more or less stuck trying to spell Nynaeve where as we don't have to worry about that in the case of the Dark One. You get my drift?
