Nice idee... Etzel Send a noteboard - 16/12/2009 05:24:37 PM
Personally, I don't agree, though.

The AS as well as the Seanchan naturally assume that damane can make the Traveling weave. As far as I know, the Traveling weave isn't that complicated, and IIRC there is no other example of damane not being able to make a certain weave, because of the a'dam.

Besides that, it seems more interesting for the plot, if the Seanchan gained Traveling.

Finally, even BS stated that the raid was a success, which indicates that the Seanchan at least got Traveling:
Q: "Do the Seanchan consider the raid on the White Tower a success?"
A: "Yes, they consider it a success, but they’re disappointed that they didn’t get their hands on the Aes Sedai superweapon."

They can use the a'dam to force an Aes Sedai or channeler with knowledge of the weave to use it. - 16/12/2009 05:25:14 PM 662 Views
But that would be like what, 2 AS at most? - 17/12/2009 06:22:56 AM 588 Views
All you need is one to reveal a weave, and the knowledge will spread. - 17/12/2009 03:14:14 PM 590 Views
Well, the ability to learn from damane is still subject to debate .... - 18/12/2009 09:58:13 PM 500 Views
