I always thought Verin lied. Most people thought it was obvious. *shrugs* *NM*

So the debate about her truthfulness is over...right? When she said "Moiraine sent me"..She was flat-out lyng. This was a big topic for argument for a long time and yet I have not seen one of you "Verin didn't lie!" supporters groveling or eating crow.
I never thought she was Black but my theory was that she had unbound herself from the Oath Rod. I was off the mark as well but close to the truth. I remember an 80 thread long argument I had with a quite prolific poster where he refused to bend on the idea that Verin was free from the Oaths. Turns out I was right!!! (Sorry but I have a chance to gloat here.
Any ways what I'm asking is if this is settled now...Verin lied to Perrin and Ingtar correct?..Anyone out there see something wrong with this idea?
Verin lying and Moiraine verifying that she lied was a huge clue...a huge glaring clue... and yet hardly anyone(myself included) took it at face value. Everyone tried to look deeper and saw things that weren't there or ignored what was right in their face because it seemed to obvious.
I wonder what else us readers have done this with..Asmo's death? Who Messana is? Are there maybe obvious clues staring us in the face that we refuse to see?

In hindsight, it was really obvious.
